Dr. Macknet has deep roots in dermatology. Prior to joining our practice late in 2024, she practiced for years with her brother and father, also board-certified dermatologists and Mohs surgeons, at their family-owned practice, Loma Linda Dermatology Medical Group.
She hails from the sunny state of California, where she graduated summa cum laude from La Sierra University, received her medical doctorate (MD) and dermatology residency training at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, and completed a rigorous and competitive Mohs micrographic surgery fellowship program at the California Skin Institute.
She joins our practice as an all-around excellent clinician who treats patients with care, and a stellar Mohs surgeon who operates with skilled hands and a carefully trained, aesthetic eye.
She resides in Ooltewah with her husband and three sons, and she enjoys staying active with yoga, swimming, and cycling.
